緣起 Our Story

2020 年，COVID-19疫情衝擊性工作者的生活，他們難以得到政府的紓困補助。一些國內疫情發生在情慾交易場所，使得性工作者、性消費者受到譴責。

一群性工作者集結起來，希望合法化性工作者的權利，並消除對性工作者的歧視。

台灣性產業勞動者權益推動協會（TSIWRA）成立於 2020 年 5 月，由性工作者、性消費者、性媒介者與關心性產業的倡議工作者共同組成。成員含括異性戀、LGBT+、男性與女性、實體與線上的性工作者。

我們追求性工作的去污名、除罰化與合法化，期待創造一個安全、有保障的勞動環境。

In 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 severely impacted sex workers’ livelihood, while they were difficult to obtain a relief package or subsidy from the government. At the same time, some cases of domestic person-to-person transmission occurred in the sex trade, and both workers and consumers were condemned as the infection control breach.
With these in mind, some sex workers gathered, hoping to legislate their rights and eliminate discrimination against them.
Later, TSIWRA was established in May 2020. It is jointly organized by sex workers, customers, brokers, and advocates who are concerned about the situation of workers in sex industries. Besides, LGBT+ and straight, male and female, online and physical sex workers are all included.
All in all, we are committed to destigmatizing, decriminalizing, and legalizing sex work, with the expectation of creating a safe and secure working environment.

End prejudice, discrimination and violence against sex workers, and protect sex workers’ personal dignity, occupational safety and sexual autonomy
Promote decriminalization of sex work and consumption
Promote a barrier-free environment for sex trades
Promote gender and sexual diversity and equality
Take brokers’ rights and obligations into account
